Job description

Role overview: The Market Research Analyst - Food Distribution is based in Gulfport, Mississippi and supports order fulfillment, inventory visibility, and delivery coordination. This position combines hands-on execution with reliable documentation and collaboration across operational and technical teams. Responsibilities: Design market research, analyze customer behavior, assess competitors, and translate findings into commercial recommendations. Apply these responsibilities to order fulfillment, inventory visibility, and delivery coordination. Work with process owners to maintain product traceability and account for time-sensitive inventory. Identify problems early, record the evidence behind recommendations, and coordinate handoffs so agreed work is completed accurately. Qualifications: 2+ years of relevant professional experience or equivalent demonstrated project work. Demonstrated capability in survey design, quantitative analysis, research synthesis, and presentation. Experience supporting food distribution is preferred. Ability to document decisions, communicate clearly, and handle business information responsibly. Initial priorities: Deliver a market assessment with evidence-backed customer segments. Begin by reviewing the current process, agreeing on a baseline with stakeholders, and identifying the most useful improvement to deliver. Report results using measures appropriate to the role and explain any unresolved dependencies. Work arrangement: Full-Time, On-site in Gulfport, Mississippi. Estimated annual cash compensation: USD 67,000 to 90,500.
