Job description

Role overview: The Content Writer - Financial Services is based in Phoenix, Arizona and supports account servicing, transaction workflows, and customer communications. This position combines hands-on execution with reliable documentation and collaboration across operational and technical teams. Responsibilities: Research topics, interview subject experts, draft audience-focused copy, and revise material for accuracy and readability. Apply these responsibilities to account servicing, transaction workflows, and customer communications. Work with process owners to preserve access controls and maintain clear review and approval records. Identify problems early, record the evidence behind recommendations, and coordinate handoffs so agreed work is completed accurately. ROLE-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Develop educational articles, product explainers, customer guides, and campaign copy that make financial topics understandable. Interview subject-matter experts, verify numerical examples, and maintain a clear record of sources. Route claims and disclosures through the designated review process before publication. Adapt tone and depth for different audiences while distinguishing general educational content from individualized financial recommendations. Maintain an editorial calendar and update outdated material. Qualifications: 2+ years of relevant professional experience or equivalent demonstrated project work. Demonstrated capability in writing, interviewing, research verification, and editorial collaboration. Experience supporting financial services is preferred. Ability to document decisions, communicate clearly, and handle business information responsibly. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS Candidates should be able to explain how they have used writing, interviewing, research verification, and editorial collaboration in practical work. Relevant experience may come from employment, consulting engagements, apprenticeships, or substantial projects. Bring examples of how you resolved an operational problem, checked the accuracy of your work, and communicated a recommendation to colleagues with different responsibilities. Familiarity with the industry is valuable, and the ability to learn unfamiliar processes and ask precise questions is equally important. FIRST 90 DAYS Audit existing content for accuracy and readability, identify unanswered customer questions, and publish an approved series with measurable engagement objectives. During onboarding, review existing documentation, meet the people who depend on this role, and confirm priorities with your manager. Agree on a realistic delivery plan, record dependencies, and share progress regularly. Success will be evaluated through the quality of completed work, reliable follow-through, and improvements to the specific process or service assigned to you. WORKING RELATIONSHIPS Work collaboratively with operational stakeholders and subject-matter experts. Keep decisions, unresolved questions, and handoffs documented so others can continue work without unnecessary delays. Raise conflicting priorities early and propose practical next steps. Maintain confidentiality and use approved systems when handling customer, employee, or business information. Work arrangement: Full-Time, On-site in Phoenix, Arizona. Estimated annual cash compensation: USD 65,500 to 88,500. APPLICATION DETAILS Applications close November 2, 2027. Staffing agency submissions are welcome.
