Job description

Role overview: The Facilities Manager - Education Services is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma and supports learner support, enrollment workflows, and program delivery. This position combines hands-on execution with reliable documentation and collaboration across operational and technical teams. Responsibilities: Coordinate building maintenance, prioritize repairs, manage facilities vendors, and maintain operational records. Apply these responsibilities to learner support, enrollment workflows, and program delivery. Work with process owners to protect learner records and align work with academic or training calendars. Identify problems early, record the evidence behind recommendations, and coordinate handoffs so agreed work is completed accurately. ROLE-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate maintenance for classrooms, administrative space, and shared campus facilities with minimal disruption to learning schedules. Maintain an asset inventory and preventive maintenance calendar for building systems. Prioritize work orders according to urgency and service impact, supervise vendor access, and document completed work. Track repair spending and recurring failures to inform replacement recommendations. Coordinate planned shutdowns with building users and responsible safety personnel. Qualifications: 5+ years of relevant experience, including ownership of a team, budget, or substantial service program. Demonstrated capability in preventive maintenance planning, vendor oversight, work orders, and facility budgeting. Experience supporting education services is preferred. Ability to document decisions, communicate clearly, and handle business information responsibly. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS Candidates should be able to explain how they have used preventive maintenance planning, vendor oversight, work orders, and facility budgeting in practical work. Relevant experience may come from employment, consulting engagements, apprenticeships, or substantial projects. Bring examples of how you resolved an operational problem, checked the accuracy of your work, and communicated a recommendation to colleagues with different responsibilities. Familiarity with the industry is valuable, and the ability to learn unfamiliar processes and ask precise questions is equally important. FIRST 90 DAYS Review overdue maintenance, establish clear work-order priorities, and present an actionable plan for the most disruptive facility issues. During onboarding, review existing documentation, meet the people who depend on this role, and confirm priorities with your manager. Agree on a realistic delivery plan, record dependencies, and share progress regularly. Success will be evaluated through the quality of completed work, reliable follow-through, and improvements to the specific process or service assigned to you. WORKING RELATIONSHIPS Work collaboratively with operational stakeholders and subject-matter experts. Keep decisions, unresolved questions, and handoffs documented so others can continue work without unnecessary delays. Raise conflicting priorities early and propose practical next steps. Maintain confidentiality and use approved systems when handling customer, employee, or business information. Work arrangement: Full-Time, On-site in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Estimated annual cash compensation: USD 90,500 to 122,500. APPLICATION DETAILS Applications close November 2, 2027. Staffing agency submissions are welcome.
