Job description
Role overview: The Logistics Analyst - E-Commerce is based in Henderson, Nevada and supports online orders, checkout journeys, and post-purchase service. This position combines hands-on execution with reliable documentation and collaboration across operational and technical teams.
Responsibilities: Analyze shipment flows, investigate service failures, coordinate logistics partners, and maintain delivery metrics. Apply these responsibilities to online orders, checkout journeys, and post-purchase service. Work with process owners to track order exceptions and evaluate changes against customer completion rates. Identify problems early, record the evidence behind recommendations, and coordinate handoffs so agreed work is completed accurately.
ROLE-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze order-to-delivery performance across fulfillment locations, parcel carriers, and returns workflows. Investigate late shipments, split orders, delivery exceptions, and transportation cost changes using order-level data. Reconcile promised delivery dates with actual carrier milestones. Build reports that separate warehouse delays from transit delays and recommend changes to routing, service selection, or order release timing. Coordinate corrective actions with fulfillment and customer-support teams.
Qualifications: 2+ years of relevant professional experience or equivalent demonstrated project work. Demonstrated capability in transportation data, logistics systems, root-cause analysis, and partner coordination. Experience supporting e-commerce is preferred. Ability to document decisions, communicate clearly, and handle business information responsibly.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates should be able to explain how they have used transportation data, logistics systems, root-cause analysis, and partner coordination in practical work. Relevant experience may come from employment, consulting engagements, apprenticeships, or substantial projects. Bring examples of how you resolved an operational problem, checked the accuracy of your work, and communicated a recommendation to colleagues with different responsibilities. Familiarity with the industry is valuable, and the ability to learn unfamiliar processes and ask precise questions is equally important.
FIRST 90 DAYS
Create a reliable delivery-performance baseline and complete a focused investigation into a recurring shipment exception. During onboarding, review existing documentation, meet the people who depend on this role, and confirm priorities with your manager. Agree on a realistic delivery plan, record dependencies, and share progress regularly. Success will be evaluated through the quality of completed work, reliable follow-through, and improvements to the specific process or service assigned to you.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Work collaboratively with operational stakeholders and subject-matter experts. Keep decisions, unresolved questions, and handoffs documented so others can continue work without unnecessary delays. Raise conflicting priorities early and propose practical next steps. Maintain confidentiality and use approved systems when handling customer, employee, or business information.
Work arrangement: Full-Time, On-site in Henderson, Nevada. Estimated annual cash compensation: USD 70,000 to 94,500.
