Is this pay fair?

Enter a job title and a U.S. city or state to see typical pay for that work, from U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data.

How this works

The numbers come from the most recent Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics data published by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics for the closest matching occupation and area. "Low" is the 25th percentile, "typical" is the median and "high" is the 75th percentile, so half of workers in that job and area earn between low and high.

Pay also depends on experience, shift, industry and benefits, so treat this as a guide, not a quote. Job titles that do not clearly match an occupation are not shown, to avoid misleading numbers.
